Your Role

As the Global Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Compliance and Regulatory Leadership: Design and implement a global compliance strategy that ensures alignment with international regulations, including AML/CTF, Financial Crime, and Fraud prevention standards.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Serve as the go-to authority on FCA, FINTRAC, and IFSC compliance requirements, ensuring our operations meet and exceed these standards.
  • Cultural Stewardship: Foster a compliance culture that empowers colleagues and builds trust with clients through a helpful, consultative approach.
  • Risk Management: Develop frameworks to identify, prevent, and mitigate financial crime and fraud risks across all jurisdictions.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with senior leadership, operational teams and partner / regulator counterparts to ensure compliance is seamlessly integrated into business decisions and growth strategies.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a proven leader with:

  • Large Scale Experience: 15+ years in senior executive compliance roles, with hands-on experience across the UK, Europe, Asia, and Canada. You will probably have a career built with big international banks, scaled Fintech / Electronic Money / Payment Institutions and global card schemes such as VISA, Mastercard, Union Pay, AMEX.
  • Regulatory Mastery: Deep knowledge of AML/CTF, financial crime prevention, and fraud mitigation in global financial services.
  • Commercial Acumen: A clear understanding of how compliance supports business growth and client trust.
  • Leadership Excellence: A track record of fostering strong teams and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Global Perspective: The ability to navigate diverse regulatory environments and work effectively across cultures and regions.
